Engine Crankshaft Bearing (OEM-Grade Fit)

This precision engine bearing supports the crankshaft inside the block, keeping it perfectly aligned while it spins at high RPM. It is needed to hold a stable oil film between metal surfaces, reduce friction, and protect the crank journals from scoring. Without this bearing, the engine cannot maintain correct clearances, oil pressure, or smooth rotation.

The bearing shell sits in the crankcase saddle and forms a smooth, low-friction surface. Pressurized oil flows through oil passages and builds a hydrodynamic cushion, so the crankshaft β€œfloats” on oil instead of rubbing directly on metal.
