This part is the fixed tube that holds and guides the engine oil dipstick in the correct position. How It Works ⚙️
The tube is mounted to the engine block and lines up with the oil sump reading path. When you insert the dipstick, it slides through the tube to the calibrated measuring area, then returns the oil film mark to the handle end for an easy reading. A tight fit at the base helps prevent oil mist seepage and keeps the stick stable during driving.
