The timing zone works under constant load, heat, and oil splash. This cover forms a rigid housing so the timing system stays stable, oil stays inside, and road dust stays out.
How it works ⚙️
Bolted to the engine block, it creates a sealed chamber for the timing chain/belt area. It supports oil sealing surfaces (like front crank seal), guides oil flow back to the sump, and keeps the timing drive running in a controlled environment.
