Why this part is needed
This motor mount secures the engine to the subframe and keeps the powertrain correctly aligned. It absorbs vibration, reduces cabin noise, and protects nearby parts like the exhaust flex, hoses, and wiring. A healthy mount improves shift quality, reduces steering shake at idle, and keeps NVH levels low for comfortable trips .
How it works
The mount uses a rubber (often hydraulic) core bonded to steel brackets. It bolts to the engine bracket on one side and the chassis on the other. The elastomer and fluid chambers isolate high-frequency vibration while allowing limited movement for torque reactions during acceleration and braking.
