Engine Head Sealing Gasket οΈ
This precision head gasket seals the joint between the cylinder head and engine block. It keeps compression strong, separates oil and coolant, and locks combustion gases inside the chambers. A healthy seal protects performance, fuel economy, and emissions on Toyota engines .
Why you need it
Over time heat cycles and detonation can flatten beads and fire rings. Replacing the gasket restores proper compression, stable operating temperature, and clean oil and coolant pathways.
How it works βοΈ
Multi-layer steel with reinforced fire rings is clamped by head bolts. Elastomer sealing beads surround coolant and oil ports. Under bolt load and heat, it conforms to micro-surfaces, maintaining a high-pressure seal even under boost or heavy loads.
