Why this part is needed
Old pans rust, warp, crack from road impacts, or strip the drain threads. Replacing restores a clean sealing surface, stops leaks, stabilizes oil pressure, and helps cooling—protecting bearings and extending engine life.
How it works
The sump bolts to the block with a flat flange and gasket/RTV. Internal baffles control slosh so the oil pump pickup stays fed. The drain port enables quick service, while the metal shell radiates heat, aiding oil temperature control.
What happens if it fails
