Engine Oil Sump Assembly for Nissan Platforms ️

This lower crankcase reservoir stores and seals engine oil, shields the rotating assembly, and keeps the pickup submerged under hard braking, cornering, or rough roads. Built to OEM geometry, it installs straight and leak-free for dependable lubrication.

Why this part is needed

Old pans rust, warp, crack from road impacts, or strip the drain threads. Replacing restores a clean sealing surface, stops leaks, stabilizes oil pressure, and helps cooling—protecting bearings and extending engine life.

How it works

The sump bolts to the block with a flat flange and gasket/RTV. Internal baffles control slosh so the oil pump pickup stays fed. The drain port enables quick service, while the metal shell radiates heat, aiding oil temperature control.

What happens if it fails

Expect oil drips, burnt-oil smell, wet undercarriage, or an oil lamp flicker during turns. Ignoring it risks aeration, low pressure, bearing damage, cam wear, turbo failure (if fitted), and possible seizure.

Tech highlights

  • Corrosion‑resistant finish, OEM‑spec stamping/casting
  • True-flat flange for leak-free RTV/gasket sealing
  • Correct drain plug seat and thread engagement
  • Proper clearance to pickup screen and crossmember

Install tips ️

Clean mating faces, check pickup O-ring and depth, apply the right sealant bead, torque bolts in a criss-cross pattern, refill with the specified oil and a new filter, warm idle, then recheck for leaks.
