    Engine Oil Pan Assembly — OEM Sump for Infiniti/Nissan

    This oil sump is the lower reservoir of the lubrication system. It stores engine oil, seals the crankcase, cools the fluid with airflow, and provides a secure drain point. Built from corrosion‑resistant alloy with rigid ribs and a flat flange, it works with a formed gasket or RTV sealant to keep the engine tight and clean. Perfect fitment ensures correct pickup tube depth and stable oil pressure during acceleration and cornering ️.

    Why you need it

    Oil must stay inside the engine, not on your driveway. A fresh, true pan prevents leaks, keeps pressure steady, and protects against starvation under hard driving.

    How it works

    Oil returns by gravity to the sump. The pump’s pickup draws from the pan, feeding bearings, cams, and chains. Cooling fins and airflow lower oil temperature for longer life.

    When it’s damaged

    Dents or cracks cause leaks, oil light warnings, ticking or knocking, blue smoke, and bearing wear. A warped flange or stripped drain plug crush washer means constant seepage and messy services ⚠️.
