    Engine Oil Sump Assembly ️

    This OEM-spec engine oil pan is the lower reservoir of your engine’s lubrication system. It stores and cools the oil, feeds the pump via the pickup, and seals the crankcase with a precise flange and gasket. Built to factory geometry, it keeps the level stable with internal baffles and provides a serviceable drain plug for clean oil changes.

    Why this part is needed

    A healthy sump prevents leaks, maintains oil pressure, and protects the rotating assembly from road debris. Corrosion, curb impacts, stripped drain threads, or warped flanges lead to oil loss and pressure drop. Replacing a damaged pan restores sealing and reliability while stopping driveway spots and burning smells.

    How it works

    Bolts to the block with a formed gasket or RTV bead. Baffles limit slosh during braking and cornering, keeping the pickup covered. The pan also dissipates heat by airflow. A threaded boss accepts the drain plug (often with a crush washer) for proper maintenance.
