Engine Crankshaft Main Bearing Set ️

The bearing shell sits in the main journal housing and forms a thin oil film between the crankshaft and block. As oil pressure builds, the crank “floats” on lubrication, allowing stable rotation, correct alignment, and proper transfer of combustion forces into the block without scoring the journals.
