Engine Mount Insulator for Mitsubishi 4x4
Keep your powertrain smooth and quiet with this premium engine mount insulator (OE ref: 1093A165). Designed for tough Mitsubishi pickups and SUVs, it supports engine weight, holds alignment, and cuts vibration and cabin noise—especially at idle and during hard acceleration.
Why you need it
The mount isolates engine shake from the chassis. It prevents metal-to-metal contact, protects hoses and exhaust joints, and keeps driveline angles correct. Replacing a tired mount restores comfort, throttle response, and shift quality.
How it works ️
A high-durometer rubber core is bonded to steel brackets. The center sleeve bolts to the subframe while the outer shell secures to the engine bracket. The rubber absorbs torque pulses and road shocks, then returns the engine to its neutral position, maintaining height and alignment with other mounts.
What happens if it’s broken ⚠️
Expect harsh vibration at idle, clunks on take-off or gear changes, steering shake, and misaligned belts or fan. It can crack the exhaust flex, stress hoses, and accelerate wear on transmission mounts and driveline joints.
Tech tips
Support the engine during service, torque bolts at normal ride height, and recheck fasteners after 100 km. Inspect all mounts; replace any with tears, oil swell, or collapsed rubber.
