Engine Mount Cushion (Center Member)
This component sits between the engine mounting point and the vehicle’s center member to absorb vibration and control engine movement. It is needed to keep the drivetrain steady during idle, acceleration, braking, and gear changes, so the cabin stays quiet and the exhaust and driveshaft angles remain correct.
How It Works ⚙️
Built with a bonded rubber cushion and metal support, it acts like a tuned damper. The rubber flexes to soak up engine shake, while the metal core keeps the engine aligned. This balance prevents harsh knocks and reduces stress on nearby parts.
