Engine Cylinder Block Case Assembly for Mitsubishi SUVs & Pickups βš™οΈ

This heavy-duty engine block housing is the rigid backbone of your power unit. It holds the cylinder bores, oil galleries, coolant jackets, and the crankshaft main saddles. If your original casting is cracked, warped, porous, or has damaged bearing seats after overheating or detonation, replacing it restores reliability and factory clearances.

Why you need it ?️

A fresh block brings back correct compression, oil pressure, and thermal stability. It prevents coolant–oil mixing, head gasket failure repeats, and uneven wear. Ideal during full rebuilds or when machining limits are exceeded.

How it works

The block keeps bores round under load, routes coolant around cylinders, and feeds pressurized oil to bearings. It aligns the crank with main caps and provides a flat deck for the head to seal combustion.

When it’s bad ?

Expect overheating, low compression, milky oil, oil pressure drop, persistent misfire, knock, metal shavings, or coolant loss. Left unchecked, it can seize the engine or crack further.

Pro tips

Measure and hone bores, check deck flatness, clean all galleries, transfer plugs/dowels, install new gaskets, bearings, and head bolts, and torque to spec. Use correct coolant and break-in oil.
