Right-Hand Rocker/Valve Cover for Mitsubishi Engines
This RH rocker cover seals the top of the cylinder head, keeping oil in and dust out while guiding crankcase vapors to the PCV system. A precise, rigid body with clean gasket rails ensures tight clamping and quiet valve-train operation. Ideal when the original cover is cracked, warped, or seeping.
Why you need it
Heat cycles and vibration flatten gaskets, loosen threads, and clog breathers. Signs include oil mist on the right side, burnt-oil smell, wet injector wells, and oily belt covers. Replacing the cover restores proper sealing, ventilation, and engine cleanliness.
How it works ️
The cover closes the cam/rocker area, contains splash oil under load, and routes blow-by through internal baffles to the PCV valve. Even bolt torque compresses the gasket evenly, preventing seepage around corners and plug tubes.
What happens if it fails ⚠️
Oil leaks, smoke on hot exhaust, dust ingress, misfires from oil-soaked plugs, rising oil consumption, and sludge from poor ventilation. Prolonged leaks can damage coils, hoses, and rubber mounts.
Build and fitment
OE-grade construction with reinforced bolt bosses and a flat sealing rail. Clean the head surface, install a fresh gasket, follow the crisscross torque pattern, and torque to spec for a lasting, leak-free seal.
