RH Cylinder Head Gasket for V-engine SUVs

This OEM-grade right-hand cylinder head gasket seals the joint between the cylinder head and engine block on V-type engines. It keeps combustion pressure in, and keeps oil and coolant in their own passages. Built as multi-layer steel (MLS) with heat-resistant coatings, it’s made to handle heavy loads, towing, and off-road heat cycles .

Why this part is needed

Without a proper seal, the engine loses compression, runs rough, and can mix fluids. This gasket ensures stable power, clean combustion, and correct lubrication and cooling.

How it works

Clamped by head bolts, the gasket conforms to micro-surfaces, sealing fire rings around cylinders and channels for oil and coolant. It expands and contracts with temperature while keeping a tight seal.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

  • Overheating, coolant loss, bubbles in reservoir
  • White exhaust smoke, sweet smell, milky oil
  • Misfire on RH bank, low compression, hard start
  • Possible catalytic damage and warped head if driven

Tech notes βœ…

  • Always check head flatness; resurface if needed
  • Use new head bolts and follow torque/angle spec
  • Flush oil and coolant after repair
