Engine Overhaul Gasket Kit – Restore Factory Sealing
Why you need it
During a full engine rebuild, every sealing surface must be renewed. This complete kit replaces critical gaskets and seals—head, intake and exhaust manifold, valve cover, oil pan, water pump, thermostat housing, plus front and rear crankshaft seals and key O-rings. Fresh seals stop oil and coolant leaks, recover compression, stabilize idle, and protect the catalytic converter.
How it works ⚙️
The multi-layer steel head gasket holds high combustion pressure while managing heat cycles. Molded rubber and fiber gaskets conform to tiny surface flaws, creating a uniform seal when torqued to spec. Fluoroelastomer lip seals keep oil in and dirt out at rotating shafts. Clean mating faces and correct torque sequence lock in fluids and pressure for long service life.
What happens if seals fail
Symptoms include overheating, white exhaust smoke, milky oil, low compression, rough running, coolant loss, oil spots under the car, and rising fuel use. Prolonged leaks can wash bearings, foul plugs, damage the catalyst, and warp the cylinder head—turning a simple rebuild into major engine work.
