    Engine Rubber Mount for Hyundai/Kia Light Trucks

    This heavy-duty motor mount keeps the engine securely positioned while cutting vibration and noise. It’s essential on working vans and pickups where torque loads are high. A healthy mount protects the gearbox, exhaust, hoses, and driveline by holding correct alignment during start-off, shifting, and braking.

    Why you need it

    Without a good insulator, the cab shakes, parts fatigue early, and comfort drops. Replacing a tired mount restores smooth idle and reduces harshness, improving overall NVH and component life.

    How it works ⚙️

    The unit uses a vulcanized rubber core bonded to steel brackets. The rubber absorbs engine pulses and road shocks, while the brackets bolt to the frame and engine bracket to maintain height and angle under load.

    What happens if it’s broken

    Expect thumps on acceleration, steering wheel shake at idle, misaligned shafts, exhaust flex cracks, and even shifted radiator hoses. Torn rubber leads to metal-to-metal contact and rapid wear of neighboring mounts.

    Tech notes

    Replace in pairs if movement is severe. Support the engine during service, align dowels, and torque fasteners to spec. Avoid solid mounts; they increase stress on the chassis.
