How it works ⚙️
When you press the brake pedal, hydraulic pressure pushes the wheel cylinder outward. The shoes spread and press against the inner surface of the drum, converting motion into heat by friction. Strong springs retract the shoes when you release the pedal, preventing drag and overheating.
