Why you need it
Your rear brakes rely on tight hydraulic seals to hold pressure and keep the caliper piston moving straight. With age, heat, dust, and road salt, the inner seal hardens and the dust boot cracks. That leads to fluid seepage, sticky pistons, uneven pad wear, and longer stopping distance. This kit restores hydraulic integrity and pedal feel, bringing back confident, quiet braking.
How it works ️
The square-cut piston seal holds brake fluid under pressure and flexes to retract the piston slightly when you release the pedal. The dust boot keeps water and grit out of the bore, protecting the piston surface. Guide pin boots (where equipped) seal in grease so the caliper slides freely. Fresh rubber parts stop micro-leaks, keep the piston centered, and maintain even clamp force on both pads.
What happens if it’s broken ⚠️
Symptoms include soft or sinking pedal, fluid stains near the caliper, pull to one side, overheating rotor, and rapid or tapered pad wear. Left unchecked, you risk ABS faults, seized pistons, warped rotors, and a sudden loss of braking power.
