Front Disc Brake Caliper Repair Cylinder Kit for Toyota

Why this part is needed

Restore precise stopping power with a fresh caliper rebuild set ️. Heat, road salt, and dust age the rubber seals and boots in the front brakes. When they harden or crack, fluid can seep, pistons can stick, and pads wear unevenly. Rebuilding is smart, safe, and far cheaper than replacing the entire caliper.

How it works

Press the pedal and hydraulic pressure pushes caliper pistons outward to clamp the rotor. The square-cut EPDM seals hold pressure and gently retract the pistons when you release. Dust boots keep grit and water out. New seals and boots restore correct clearances, stop leaks, and keep movement smooth and centered for balanced braking.

What happens if broken

Leaking seals cause a soft pedal, longer stops, and low fluid. Sticking pistons make the truck pull, overheat rotors, and can warp discs or glaze pads ⚠️. Ignoring it risks ABS faults and costly rotor/pad damage.

Install tips

Clean the caliper bore, remove light rust, and lubricate new seals with fresh brake fluid only. Seat dust boots fully in their grooves. Torque slide pins correctly, then bleed the system with the specified DOT fluid. Test for a firm, even pedal βœ….
