OEM Power Steering Control Valve Gasket Set ️
This kit restores tight sealing in the hydraulic control valve on the steering rack for select Toyota models. It stops fluid leaks, holds pressure, and brings back smooth, light steering and precise road feel.
Why this part is needed
With age, rubber seals harden and gaskets flatten. Fluid seeps past the valve body, assist drops, and the pump works hotter and louder. Replacing the seals prevents leaks, protects the rack, and keeps steering assist consistent.
How it works
Precision O‑rings and gaskets seal the control valve ports around the spool. By keeping ATF/PSF in and air out, hydraulic pressure is routed cleanly to either side of the rack. Proper sealing stops cross‑leak, keeps centering stable, and reduces steering effort.
If the kit is not replaced
- Heavy steering, shudder, or delayed assist
- Red fluid drips and whining pump noise
- On‑center play or pull from internal bypass
- Contamination that shortens rack and pump life
Tech notes
Clean mating faces, oil the O‑rings lightly, torque evenly, and bleed the system after refill. Inspect the spool and bore for scoring; replace worn parts.
