Front Drive CV Boot Kit for Toyota Harrier
Keep your front axle running smooth with this OEM-grade constant velocity boot kit. It seals the outer joint, holds grease in, and keeps water and dust out οΈ. Perfect fit for quick, clean repair without replacing the entire shaft. Built from high-flex rubber/TPE for long life in heat, mud, and city stopβgo traffic.
Why this part is needed
- Protects CV joint bearings from dirt and moisture
- Retains factory-spec grease for quiet, smooth turns
- Prevents costly driveshaft and hub damage
- Restores OEM sealing after crack or clamp failure
How it works βοΈ
The boot is a flexible sleeve with ribs that bend as the suspension moves. Clamps lock it to the joint and shaft, creating a tight seal. The kitβs special moly grease coats the bearings, reducing friction and heat while you steer and accelerate.
If the boot is broken
- Grease leaks out; joint runs dry and overheats
- Clicking on turns and vibration under load
- Corrosion and wear lead to joint seizure or axle failure
- Grease splatter can affect brakes and nearby sensors
Tech notes οΈ
- Includes boot, clamps, and grease; replace both clamps
- Clean joint, pack full with supplied grease, vent air before clamping
- Inspect splines and seal faces; avoid over-stretching the bellows
