Front CV Axle Boot Repair Kit for Toyota
This kit protects the constant velocity (CV) joint on the front drive shaft. It seals in high‑moly grease and keeps out water, mud, and dust. Without a tight boot, the joint runs dry and rusts, turning a small service job into an expensive axle replacement.
Why you need it
Use this kit when the rubber boot is cracked, torn, or leaking grease, or after removing the shaft for other work. Fresh clamps and grease restore factory sealing and smooth steering.
How it works
The flexible bellows follows suspension travel and steering angles. Inner and outer lips seat on the CV housing and shaft. Stainless clamps lock the boot, while the supplied grease cushions the bearings and spreads heat.
If the boot fails ❗
Grease sprays on the wheel, you hear clicking on turns, feel vibration, and the joint may seize. Prolonged driving can damage ABS rings and wheel bearings.
Fitment & tips
Confirm front axle side, groove diameters, and spline count. Clean the joint, pack all cages with the provided grease, orient small/large ends correctly, and tighten clamps with proper crimp tool. Recheck after a short drive.
