Why this part is needed

This rear sway bar bushing keeps the anti-roll bar firmly located on the chassis. By isolating metal-to-metal contact, it reduces body roll, improves cornering stability, and cuts vibration and road noise. A fresh, tight bushing restores confident steering feel and safer load control on curves and uneven roads.

How it works ⚙️

The bushing wraps the stabilizer bar with a precision inner bore and mounts in the bracket to the rear subframe. As the vehicle leans, the bar twists inside the bushing. The elastomer layer cushions movement, maintains bar alignment, and transfers force evenly between left and right suspension arms for balanced handling.

What happens if it’s worn or broken ❗

Expect clunking over bumps, extra body sway, rear-end wander, and slower steering response. Braking stability may suffer, tires can wear unevenly, and ESC/ABS can intervene early. A split bushing lets the bar shift, risking bracket damage and corrosion. Replace promptly to protect the bar and restore safe ride control.
