Why this part is needed

Without a healthy heater hose, coolant can’t reach the heater core, so the cabin stays cold and defrost performance drops. A strong hose also helps maintain the cooling system’s pressure balance, protecting the engine.

How it works

Built from heat- and chemical-resistant EPDM, the hose links the engine outlet to the heater core tubes. Under pump pressure, coolant moves through the molded channel, transferring heat into the core fins, then returns to the engine for recirculation. Correct routing clears belts and pulleys and prevents abrasion.

What happens if it fails
