Why you need it ️

This precision seal keeps engine oil inside the timing/shaft area and dust out. It maintains proper lubrication and crank/cam end sealing, protecting the timing drive, pulleys, and accessories. Ideal when you service timing components, notice oil mist near the pulley cover, or after high‑mileage hardening of the old seal.

How it works

A flexible rubber lip with a garter spring hugs the rotating shaft while the outer shell locks into the housing. Micro‑finished sealing edges and directional ribs return oil inward during rotation. Heat and oil‑resistant elastomer ensures stable sealing, while the 43×58×7 sizing guarantees correct press‑fit and lip preload.

If it fails ⚠️
