Transmission Output Shaft Oil Seal 35×56×8 ⚙️

This precision lip seal keeps gearbox oil/ATF inside the transaxle where the driveshaft exits. It locks out dust and water, holds fluid level steady, and protects differential bearings and gears. Sized 35×56×8, it’s engineered to press-fit in the case and hug the axle/shaft for a dry, reliable seal.

Why you need it ️

A healthy seal prevents leaks, corrects fluid retention, and avoids premature wear of clutches, synchros, and bearings. It also stops oil from spreading onto the CV joint and brakes.

How it works

A metal-cased ring carries a nitrile/FKM lip with a garter spring that keeps constant radial pressure on the shaft. Micro ribs guide oil back in while the outer shell anchors in the housing. Proper tension equals clean, dry operation.

If the seal fails ⚠️

Expect wet hubs, drops on the driveway, burnt fluid smell, harsh or slipping shifts, bearing howl, and finally gearbox damage from low oil. Left unchecked, repair costs soar.

Inspect shaft surface, clean bore, oil the lip, drive in square and flush, and verify size 35×56×8. Refill/level fluid and road-test for leaks.
