Why this part is needed

This interior grip lets you pull the hatch or cargo door down smoothly without grabbing painted metal. It protects your fingers, saves the paint from scratches, and gives solid leverage when closing. In vans and crossovers, the handle also finishes the trim so the rear looks neat and factory-tight.

How it works

The handle is a molded, UV-stable piece that bolts or clips to the inner panel. When you pull, your force is spread across the mounting points, guiding the door as the struts or hinges do the rest. Some versions include hidden clips and a cover that aligns with the inner garnish for a rattle-free seal.

What happens if it’s broken

Cracks or loose clips cause wobble and noise, making the door harder to close. You may need to slam the hatch, which can stress hinges, latches, and weatherstrips.
