Premium Engine Oil Filter Assembly οΈ
Keep your Toyota workhorse running clean and strong. This OEMβgrade engine oil filter traps harmful dirt and metal dust, stabilizes oil flow, and protects bearings during cold starts. Built to factory dimensions for a perfect seal, easy fit, and long service life.
Why itβs needed οΈ
Combustion creates soot and tiny particles that contaminate oil. The filter removes these before they reach crank, cams, and lifters, keeping viscosity stable and extending engine life. Clean oil also helps maintain proper oil pressure and quieter operation.
How it works βοΈ
Inside is fine pleated media that captures particles while allowing steady flow. An antiβdrainback valve holds oil in the gallery for safe starts, and a bypass valve opens only if the media is clogged to prevent starvation. A molded gasket and rigid canister ensure a leakβfree seal.
If it fails β
Expect noisy starts, ticking lifters, low oil pressure warnings, sludge buildup, and accelerated bearing wear. A collapsed or torn element sends grit through the engine; a leaking seal loses pressure. Ignoring it can lead to overheating, turbo damage, or full engine seizure.
Tech tips
Replace every 5,000β10,000 km (or per service schedule). Lightly oil the gasket, handβtighten 3/4 turn after contact, and verify no old gasket sticks to the mount. Use the correct oil grade and recheck for leaks after the first drive.
