Why you need it ✅

Old rubber hardens, shrinks, or cracks from sun and ozone. Replacing it brings back a smooth door shut, eliminates wind whistle, and prevents wet carpets, foggy glass, and hidden corrosion under trims and seat mounts.

How it works

Made from EPDM with a steel-reinforced channel, the seal grips the door frame securely. When the door closes, the hollow bulb compresses evenly, creating a continuous barrier against water, dust, and air pressure. It also dampens vibration and supports latch alignment.

When it’s bad ⚠️

Signs include visible splits, a flattened bulb, musty smells, drips after rain, rattles on bumps, and loud highway hiss. You may need to slam the door, and nearby electronics can suffer moisture damage.

Fitment & install tips

RH rear door only. Clean the flange, press on from the upper hinge corner, seat molded corners, and join ends without stretching. A light silicone wipe keeps it supple and squeak-free.
