Front Door Lock Striker Plate – OE Fit for Nissan

Why you need it ️

This small but tough part keeps the front door closed, aligned, and quiet. The latch on the door bites onto the striker on the body. A good striker stops rattles, wind noise, and water leaks, and helps the central lock work correctly. It also keeps the door flush with the body for a solid, safe feel.

How it works

The latch claw grips the striker loop mounted on the B‑pillar. The beveled face guides the latch in; the hardened surface resists wear. Micro adjustment (left/right/in/out) sets door height and seal compression. A thin film of grease reduces squeak and wear.

When it fails ⚠️

Grooves, rust, or loosened bolts cause poor latching, bouncing doors, warning light on, uneven gaps, wind whistle, and water entry. In severe cases the door may not stay shut. Misalignment also stresses hinges and the latch.
