Lower Center Windshield Moulding / Cowl Weatherstrip

This trim sits at the base of the windshield, bridging the glass and cowl panel. It seals out water, dust, and wind, guides rain to the drains, and finishes the edge for a clean OEM look. Built from UV-stable rubber with a reinforced spine, it locks into factory clips for a tight, rattle-free fit. Perfect for harsh climates and off‑road use.

Why you need it ✅

Without this piece, water can pool near the firewall, causing corrosion, wet carpets, foggy glass, and electrical issues. It also cuts wind whistle at highway speeds and protects the wiper tray and cabin filter area.

How it works

The moulding presses against the windshield edge and cowl lip, creating a continuous barrier. Integrated channels direct runoff to the scuttle drains, while the stiff core keeps the profile straight so clips hold securely.

If it’s damaged or missing ⚠️

You’ll notice wind noise, water leaks after rain, squeaks over bumps, debris in the cowl, faster wiper wear, and possible rust along the lower glass frame.

Fitment notes & install tips

Clean the seating groove, dry‑fit first, then press from center outward. Replace any brittle clips. Avoid silicone on clip areas; a light rubber conditioner helps seat the lip evenly.
