Upper Center Windshield Moulding for Nissan 4x4

This upper-center windshield trim is a small but critical finishing piece that seals and stabilizes the top edge of the front glass. It is needed to stop wind noise, reduce water entry during rain, and protect the urethane bonding line from sun damage and dirt buildup. A clean, tight moulding also helps the windshield sit correctly at speed, especially on tall-body off-road vehicles.

How It Works

The moulding clips and/or seats into its channel along the upper center area of the windshield frame, creating a firm barrier between the glass and the body. It guides airflow over the roofline, blocks debris from reaching the adhesive seam, and prevents vibration that can cause annoying rattles.

If It’s Cracked or Missing ⚠️

A damaged trim can lead to whistling noise, water seepage, rust around the frame, and faster breakdown of the windshield adhesive from UV exposure. Over time, dirt trapped at the top edge may scratch paint and weaken the seal, increasing the risk of glass movement or leaks.
