OEM-Quality Hood Perimeter Weatherstrip for Nissan Pickups

This hood seal (bonnet weatherstrip) closes the gap between the hood and body to keep water, dust, and engine noise out. It protects wiring, belts, and paint while improving cabin comfort and prolonging the life of under-hood components. Why you need it

It blocks rain and road grime, lowers wind noise, prevents metal-to-metal contact, and stabilizes hood height. Proper sealing also helps the HVAC intake pull cleaner, drier air.

How it works ⚙️

Molded EPDM rubber presses into the channel along the radiator support and fender rails. When the hood closes, the bulb compresses to form a continuous barrier across the cowl and headlamp area. Ozone- and UV-resistant rubber maintains elasticity for reliable sealing over time.

What happens if it’s worn or broken ❗

Expect water intrusion, corrosion on latches and connectors, dusty filters, and increased wind noise. The hood can rattle at speed, paint can chafe at the edges, and moisture may cause foggy windows or electrical gremlins after rain.

Quick install tips

Clean the channel, align tabs, and press evenly without stretching. Close the hood and check uniform contact; replace brittle clips if present.
