Why you need it

Track use, minor bumps, or rust can bend or crack the original bracket. When tolerances shift even a few millimeters, the latch won’t center, leading to hard closing, rebound, or warning chimes. Replacing the support brings back confident closure and prevents accelerated striker wear.

How it works

The bracket triangulates the latch to the upper tie bar with fixed mounting points. It sets latch height and fore/aft position, absorbs vibration, and transfers loads from the hood to the core support. Correct alignment ensures the primary and secondary catches engage smoothly every time.
