Front Coil Spring Protector Tube – OE-Fit Noise & Corrosion Shield ️

This sleeve for the front suspension coil spring keeps ride comfort, silence, and steering precision intact. It isolates the spring from its seat and neighboring coils, stopping metal-to-metal rub, paint wear, and rust. Ideal for MacPherson strut assemblies on the front axle, it maintains correct spring seating and helps the strut work smoothly over bumps.

Why you need it ✅

It cushions the spring, reduces NVH, stabilizes the spring position in the strut, and protects the coated wire from grit, salt, and moisture—essential for long service life and even ride height.

How it works

A molded elastomer/HDPE tube slides over the lower spring turns. Ribs and micro-channels spread load and let water drain. Correct wall thickness preserves preload and prevents chafing during compression and rebound.

When it’s damaged ⚠️

Expect squeaks/creaks on bumps, low-speed clunks, rubbed-off paint, corrosion, and in severe cases a cracked coil, uneven tire wear, brake pull, and stress on top mounts—often an inspection fail.

Fitment tips

Replace in pairs during strut service, align to the seat grooves, torque with wheels loaded, and avoid sticky grease that traps grit.
