Why you need this part

This front RH strut keeps your crossover stable, smooth, and safe. It controls body motion, maintains tire contact, and supports precise steering. A healthy strut shortens braking distance, reduces vibration, and protects bushings, mounts, and tires from premature wear.

How it works

Inside the housing, a gas‑charged damper forces oil through valves as the wheel moves. This slows spring compression and rebound, preventing bounce. The coil spring carries vehicle weight, while the top mount with bearing lets the strut rotate with the steering. The knuckle bracket locks in geometry, and the dust boot and bump stop guard the rod and seals.

What happens if it’s worn or broken

Expect clunks over bumps, nose‑dive when braking, floaty highway feel, steering pull, and longer stops. You may see oily leaks on the body, cupped tire wear, ABS/ESC activation on rough roads, and poor headlight aim. Continued driving can damage tires, bearings, and other suspension parts.

Install notes ️

Direct-fit OEM-grade unit. Replace in pairs for balance, torque under vehicle load, and get a 4‑wheel alignment. Transfer spring and mount if not included.
