Front Anti-Roll Bar Support / Bushing Set

This suspension support keeps the front sway bar firmly located on the subframe. It controls body roll in corners, keeps the car flat, and improves steering feel. With a fresh support, the front end is quiet, tight, and predictable. It is a small part with a big job in everyday safety and comfort.

Why this part is needed

The sway bar links both front wheels. The support/bushing clamps it in place, absorbs vibration, and lets the bar twist only the right amount. Without a healthy support, handling becomes loose and uneven, tire grip drops, and stopping stability is worse.

How it works

A shaped rubber (or elastomer) sleeve wraps the bar and sits inside a metal bracket. The bracket bolts to the chassis. When the car leans, the bar twists inside the bushing. The material reduces friction and noise while guiding the bar’s motion.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

Clunking over bumps, steering shimmy, uneven tire wear, and poor corner control. In wet or emergency moves, the car may sway more and take longer to settle. Severe wear can let the bar shift, damaging links and mounts.

Tech notes ✅

Replace in pairs, torque bolts on loaded suspension, and lightly grease the inner bore if design allows. Inspect bar diameter and bracket shape for correct fit. After install, road-test for silence and straight tracking.
