How it works

Mounted with bushings at the frame side and a ball joint at the knuckle side, the arm pivots as the suspension travels. The bushings allow controlled flex, while the ball joint lets the wheel steer left/right without binding. Together they keep the tire planted and aligned 🔧

What happens if it’s worn or broken

A failing arm or bushing can cause clunks, wandering steering, vibration under braking, and rapid inner/outer tire wear. In severe cases the ball joint area can loosen, making the car unsafe to drive and risking loss of control ⚠️
