This upper insulator isolates road shock, keeps the strut centered, and stops body vibrations from reaching the cabin. It maintains correct suspension geometry, reduces steering noise, and protects the strut tower from metal-to-metal contact. Ideal for restoring factory ride comfort and silence .

How it works ⚙️

The insulator sits at the top of the MacPherson strut, between the mount and body. Its reinforced rubber pad spreads spring load, absorbs impact, and lets the assembly rotate with steering (via the mount/bearing). It prevents harshness, creaks, and micro-movement that cause wear.

What happens if it’s worn or broken ⚠️

- Clunking over bumps, steering knock, and vibration at low speed
- Poor wheel alignment hold, feathered tire wear
- Spring mis-seat, strut shaft stress, possible tower damage
- Heavy feedback in the steering wheel and delayed return-to-center

Tech tips ✅

Replace in pairs. Inspect the strut bearing, dust boot, and bump stop together. Use a spring compressor and torque to spec. OE-grade elastomer and coated plate resist cracking and corrosion for long life.
