Power Steering Suction Tube — OE-Style Fit ️

This suction tube feeds power steering fluid from the reservoir to the pump. It works on the low‑pressure side, so an airtight path is critical. A proper tube keeps the pump supplied with fluid, prevents air from entering, and maintains smooth, quiet steering.

Why this part is needed

With age, the rubber hardens, clamps loosen, or the tube cracks. Even tiny leaks pull in air, causing foam and noise. Replacing a tired tube restores correct fluid flow and protects the pump from cavitation damage.

How it works ⚙️

The pump creates a gentle vacuum that draws fluid through the preformed hose/tube from reservoir to inlet. Correct bends avoid kinks; oil‑resistant material handles heat and ATF/PSF. Seals and clamps keep the joint airtight.

If the tube is bad ⚠️

• Whining or growling from pump
• Foamy fluid or bubbles in reservoir
• Heavy steering, especially at idle
• Wet spots or drips under the hose
• Early pump wear or failure
