Rear Bumper Trim Molding – OEM-Fit Finish For Premium Sedan

Why you need it

This exterior strip completes the rear bumper line, protects the painted edge from light parking scuffs, and restores that factory-correct look. It also covers panel gaps, helping keep dust and splash away from the bumper seam. If your original piece is faded, cracked, or missing, replacing it brings back clean styling and proper body alignment.

How it works

The molding is a shaped ABS/PP trim that follows the bumper contour. It locks into the bumper cover using dedicated clips and guide tabs, and may use thin automotive tape along the lip for even pressure. Once seated, it braces the edge, stabilizes the bumper skin, and creates a smooth airflow path along the rear edge.

What happens if it’s broken

Expect rattles, visible gaps, and paint chafing where the bumper rubs. Water and road grit can collect at the seam, speeding wear. At highway speed you may hear a whistle from the loose edge. On vehicles with rear sensors, misalignment around the openings can cause erratic beeps.

Tech notes and install tips

  • Always replace aged clips; dry-fit before final seating.
  • Clean with isopropyl alcohol for best tape adhesion.
  • Press from center outward to lock tabs evenly.

Compatibility

  • Celsior
