How it works

Why you need it

If it’s failing ⚠️

Common signs include clunks over bumps, shimmy, feathered or uneven tires, pull or wander, and squeaks at low speed. In extreme cases the stud can separate, causing sudden loss of control.

Install tips

Count exposed threads to keep close toe, torque the stud to spec, set the jam nut, then finish with a professional four-wheel alignment. Inspect boots and sleeves; replace if torn or rusty.
