CV Joint Protective Boot Set for Axle Shaft

This kit shields the constant velocity (CV) joint and keeps the axle grease sealed where it belongs. It is a smart, low-cost repair that prevents premature wear of your driveshaft assembly. Built from durable elastomer for long life, it includes clamps and high-moly lubricant to restore factory sealing and smooth movement.

Why you need it ️

The CV joint must flex while transferring engine power to the wheels. A tight, oil-resistant boot keeps grease inside and blocks water, salt, and dust. Replacing a worn or cracked boot early saves the joint and avoids buying a complete shaft later.

How it works βš™οΈ

The boot expands and contracts with suspension travel while its ribs maintain flexibility at sharp steering angles. Grease inside reduces friction and heat. Stainless-style clamps lock the boot to the joint and axle, maintaining constant pressure for a reliable seal.

If the boot is damaged ❌

You may see grease splatter near the wheel, hear clicking on turns, feel vibration under load, or face joint rust and pitting. Driving with a torn boot quickly destroys the CV joint and can lead to MOT/inspection failure.

Tech tips βœ…

Clean the joint, pack fresh grease evenly, fit the boot without twisting, and crimp clamps firmly. Check both inner and outer boots during service.
