Rear Right Disc Brake Hydraulic Cylinder for Toyota 4x4

Keep your heavy-duty Toyota stopping straight and sure. This rear right hydraulic cylinder sits inside the disc brake caliper and restores firm, even clamping on the rotor. Built to OEM specs, it resists heat, mud, and long towing miles, giving you stable pedal feel and confident braking on-road and off-road.

Why you need it

Over time, seals harden, the piston pits with corrosion, and dust boots crack. That causes weak braking on the right rear, uneven pad wear, and longer stopping distances. Replacing the cylinder returns full pressure and protects the new pads and rotor.

How it works βš™οΈ

When you press the pedal, brake fluid forces the piston forward inside a precision bore. The piston pushes the inner pad into the rotor, then the caliper slides to clamp the outer pad. A square-cut seal controls movement and retracts the piston slightly when pressure drops, while a dust boot keeps grit out.

If it’s failing

Expect soft or sinking pedal, pull under braking, fluid leaks at the caliper, overheating rotor, brake squeal, and ABS kicking in early. Ignoring it risks rotor warping and sudden loss of rear brake force.

Tech tips ️

Flush fresh DOT 3/4 fluid, lubricate slides, torque hardware, and bleed the system in sequence. Bed the pads after installation for best bite.
