Over time, steel lines can rust, kink, or weep at the flares. Replacing a compromised pipe restores firm pedal response, prevents fluid loss, and protects the ABS from aeration. It’s essential after collision repair, corrosion damage, or when doing a full brake refresh.

How it works ⚙️

Brake fluid from the master/ABS unit flows through this double-flared, zinc-coated steel tube. The exact internal diameter and routed bends maintain pressure and volume, translating pedal force into caliper clamping power. What happens if it’s damaged ⚠️

Use fresh DOT 3/4 per vehicle spec, torque flare nuts correctly, route in factory clips, keep clear of heat/moving parts, and bleed the system thoroughly.
