Oil Reservoir Cap Assembly 🚗🛠️

This cap assembly seals the oil reservoir tank and keeps the lubrication system clean, pressurized, and safe from leaks. It is needed whenever the original cap is cracked, loose, missing, or no longer holds a proper seal.

How It Works

The cap locks onto the reservoir neck and uses an internal gasket to create a tight seal. This helps maintain stable oil flow conditions, prevents dust and moisture from entering, and reduces oil mist or seepage during engine operation. A correct seal also supports consistent oil level readings and cleaner engine bay operation.

What Happens If It’s Broken

A damaged cap can cause oil seepage, messy buildup around the tank, and contamination inside the system. In worse cases, air can enter where it shouldn’t, leading to poor lubrication performance, warning lights, burnt smell, or accelerated wear.
