Hydraulic Pressure Check Plug Assembly ?

This small plug is a critical sealing and test point used in the transmission/valve body hydraulic circuit. It is needed to hold exact oil pressure in specific passages and also allows technicians to verify line pressure during diagnosis. Even though it looks simple, it protects shift quality and clutch/band apply timing.

How it works ⚙️

The plug installs into a machined bore and seals with its designed surface/seat. When the pump builds pressure, the plug keeps fluid from bleeding off, so solenoids and valves can route oil to the correct clutch packs. During service, a gauge can be connected at the check point to confirm pressure under load and during gear changes.
