This precision seal keeps bearing grease inside the rear hub and blocks water, dust, and road grit. It sits between the axle shaft and hub/bearing housing, using a metal case, elastomer lip, and a spring-loaded edge to maintain pressure on the rotating surface. How it works ⚙️

The inner lip rides on the axle journal, tracking slight run-out while the garter spring holds even contact. The outer shell locks into the hub bore. Together they form a tight barrier that keeps grease in and moisture out during every wheel rotation.
