Rear Axle Inner Bearing ?

Keep your wheel end strong and straight. This rear axle inner bearing supports the axle shaft inside the housing, aligns the hub, and carries heavy radial and side loads. Built from hardened steel with precision races and rollers, it runs in gear oil for cool, smooth rotation and long life.

Why it’s needed ?

It reduces friction, keeps toe and camber stable, and protects the differential. Towing, off‑road, or city stop‑go all demand a tight, true bearing to prevent noise and uneven tire wear.

How it works ⚙️

A tapered roller pack seats on the shaft near the seal. Correct preload holds the axle square, keeps gear mesh consistent, and stabilizes the brake drum/disc. Proper torque and clean lubricant are essential.

If worn or broken ⚠️

Expect humming or growl that rises with speed, wheel play, heat at the hub, oil leaks, and metal glitter in diff oil. Driving can score the shaft, ruin the seal, damage ring and pinion, or in extreme cases cause wheel lock‑up. Replace promptly and set end play to spec.
