Nissan Disc Brake Caliper Seal Kit β OEM-Grade Rebuild Solution οΈ
Why you need it
This caliper seal set restores tight hydraulic sealing, firm pedal feel, and even pad wear. Over time, heat, dust, and moisture harden seals and boots. Rebuilding the caliper with fresh components stops leaks, prevents sticking pistons, and brings back confident braking.
How it works
The square-cut pressure seal sits in the caliper bore, holding brake fluid pressure and gently retracting the piston after each stop. The outer dust boot shields the piston from water, mud, and grit. Together, they keep fluid in, contaminants out, and the piston moving straight and smooth for consistent disc contact.
When seals fail β οΈ
Signs include soft or sinking pedal, uneven pad wear, pull to one side, wet caliper, overheated discs, and longer stopping distance. Ignoring it risks fluid loss, rotor damage, ABS warnings, and unsafe braking.
Install tips β
Clean the caliper bore, inspect piston for pitting, and lubricate with clean brake fluid or silicone brake grease. Seat seals carefully, fit dust boots fully, torque slide pins, then bleed the system and road-test.
